This is a pilsner that tastes like waking up in a hop field in Nelson after a big night out with the intense kiwi sun on your face. Crisp, with a pleasing level of bitterness without straying too close to IPL territory, what stands out about this beer is the aromas of green hops. It smells like it’s a hop-harvest beer - except it isn’t - it is hopped in the normal way, but with an all NZ line up of hops. Riwaka is the predominant hop, but backed up by Nelson Sauvin, Wakatu, and Wai-iti as well, resulting in stone fruit, fig, and lime vibes.
