Quite possibly the only beer in Australia that has ever been blessed by Thai Buddhist monks.
Drink Pray Love is a beer inspired strongly by the sweet Thai snack known as mango sticky rice (khao niao ma muang). It uses 20% rice in the malt bill, along with heaps of mango and coconut added after primary fermentation and a significant amount of pandan leaves (secret ingredient shhh….). This is a beer that is designed to be full of flavour, and full of fruit but also crisp and sessionable.
Intense juicy mango and coconut on the nose along with a touch of over ripe-fermented-mango aromas. At first sip it is juicy mango - followed by a toasted savoury finish courtesy of the flaked coconut and pandan leaves. If you swallow it’s a crisp refreshing beer, if you burp, it’s pure mango magic.
