KEG PARTY!? Let us supply a keg full of delicious local beer to your next party. 20L and 50L stainless steel kegs are available full of your beer of choice. You have 2 months to empty your keg before it needs to be returned or swapped for a fresh one. Free delivery and pickup within 10km of the brewery is available! (It can not be shipped/posted as it's too heavy for Australia Post.)
We also cater to homebrewers who haven't managed to keep their kegerators stocked and can fill/supply corny kegs if you'd prefer (read below)
20L Kegs: PLEASE ORDER KEGS FOR THE WEEKEND BY 7PM THURSDAY, OTHERWISE ALLOW FOR 24 HOURS FOR US TO PREPARE YOUR KEG. While we have some 20L kegs filled and ready to go, we often need to fill them on-demand, as such they may not be just sitting there waiting for you to rock up at 5pm on Friday, sorry! That said, if you left it last minute, don't hesitate to give us a ring to check with us. We may have one on hand or be able to get one prepared for you more quickly.
All 20L/50L kegs suit "D-type" couplers and also come with a D-type coupler fitted with standard ball-lock adaptors such that most home-brewers can seamlessly connect our keg to their kegerators and get pouring! So easy!
FINE PRINT: The purchase price indicated is for the beer in the keg only, the keg itself remains our property and must be returned to the brewery within the timeframe indicated above. If a keg is lost, stolen or severely damaged you will be charged the replacement/repair cost of the keg.
NEED A POURING SYSTEM?
If you need a way to dispense the beer, you must also select YES to a PARTY TAP when adding your keg to the cart.
Our party taps are a simple, yet effective pouring system that allows you to dispense beer from our kegs! Please note that the party tap dispenses the beer but does not chill the beer or keep the keg cold, so if you want cold beer you need to keep the keg in a fridge or the bottom of the keg submerged in an ice bucket. Instruction on how to use this tap can be given at pickup or upon delivery.
FINE PRINT: The price indicated is for the hire of our party tap only and not for the purchase of our party tap. The Party Tap itself and all the parts associated with it remain our property and must be returned to the brewery within 10 days of delivery/pickup. If a party tap is lost, stolen or severely damaged you will be charged the replacement/repair cost of the party tap assembly.
CORNY KEGS AND BYO KEG AND MORE KEG INFO:
The profile of the 20L keg is very similar to that of the 19L "cornelius" kegs that homebrewers like to use (it is just a touch shorter and a bit more squat) so it will almost certainly fit into anywhere you squeeze in your 19L kegs. That said, if you have a three keg kegerator then you may not be able to squeeze in three of our 20L kegs, but you should still get two in no dramas :)
We prefer these 20L kegs to the 19L cornelius kegs because we can wash them using our automatic keg washer instead of by hand. You should prefer these 20L kegs because you get an additional 1 litre of beer!
We do also offer 19L cornelius kegs though for those converted fridges that are extra tight, so if you'd prefer a 19L corny keg, we still got you covered! It's an extra $30 cleaning fee, but simply purchase a 20L keg and leave a note in checkout requesting a 19L keg option and we will call to arrange payment
If you have your own kegs that you would like us to fill we can fill petty much anything for a $10 fill charge. We can fill them, just not on the spot. You need to drop off on Wednesday for a Friday afternoon pickup (Basically give us 48 hours to get around to it). The keg must be clean and sanitised. We will purge it with CO2 prior to filling, but that's pretty much it. If the beer "goes off" or "isn't right" we will assume it was due to sub-standard sanitation of your keg and there will be no refund. 19L corny keg fills cost the same as 20L kegs(+$10 fill charge). Anything less that 19L is charged at a per litre rate - which is the same as growler fill prices.
Finally, we can sometimes fill up 5L mini kegs or similar on the spot straight from the tap like a growler (it depends on the dimensions of the vessel), but if it has a pouring system we prefer to c02 purge it and fill it properly as per the above kegs.
