Each month our brewers pick the three beers that they would pick for themselves, they bottle them up in our 750mL returnable bottles (grottles) and deliver them straight to your doorstep! It is an exceptional service that makes it very easy to keep up with our new brews while also enjoying some of our regular favourites! A fantastic way to support you local brewery, complement your beer diet, and continue to explore the world of craft beer. We affectionately call it "The Milk Run".
The beers that are selected will be of varying styles, varying strengths, and varying retail value. Usually at least one beer will be selected from our signature range, while the other two will usually be selected from our newest seasonal and one-off beers. Occasionally, an exclusive and/or limited release beer will be included, available first to only our Grottle Club Subscribers - it may not even go on tap at the bar! Some months, the beers will all be of a similar theme, while other months they will represent a diverse range. We will also do our best to ensure that each month will satisfy all craft beer drinkers, conservative and adventurous alike!

At the end of your subscription period you will be notified and be given the option to renew your subscription. They do not auto-renew.
This subscription service is only available within our local delivery area (3km from the brewery) or for pick-up from the brewery in Brunswick. If you are located outside our local delivery area you should check out our postal subscription options.
Save money and the planet by returning your bottles!
The subscription prices include a $2/bottle deposit. Meaning that if you return your three bottles to our delivery driver or to the brewery each month you'll receive $6 credit for future purchases! It can be as easy as leaving them out on your front step and our driver will collect them for you and you will receive a voucher for all your returns at the start of the next month. Learn more here.
Incredibly environmentally-friendly service!
- Our brewery is 100% electrified and supported by 32KW of solar panels on our roof. Any electricity used from the grid is carbon offset.
- Our spent grain - our primary waste product from the brewing process - goes to farmer Pete for pig feed and to nearby SEEDs Community Garden to support their composting system.
- Our grottles (growler-bottles, AKA reusable bottles) reduce waste because we collect, wash, sanitise and refill them over and over again. This also reduces the carbon footprint thanks to new packaging not being manufactured and transported as well as waste packaging not being transported to a recycling or waste facility.
- This is a local delivery or pick-up service only, so when we need to deliver with a vehicle it minimises the carbon footprint for the journey. When we deliver on the cargo bike, it's even better! We have recently purchased a secondhand non-electric cargo bike and we hope to refit it soon and put it too work.
Cancel, pause, stop, skip a month, re-start your subscription at any time.
No lock-in contracts mean you have complete control with your subscription. You can skip a month of your subscription for holidays, stop it for a time if you are on a health kick, or even have it sent to a different address for a few months - just by shooting us an email. You can cancel your subscription at anytime you like. Subscriptions will be partially refunded halfway through if you decide it's not for you. For example: if you pre-paid for a 12 month subscription and then cancel after 7 months-worth of packs have been delivered to you, we will calculate the cheapest 7-month subscription option (6 month prepay + 1 month one-off) and refund you the difference.
Delivery details/options:
Pick-up
If your preferred delivery option is to simply collect your monthly subscription from the brewery each month, you will receive a notification when your subscription is ready, at which point you can collect from the brewery during our regular opening hours. You will have 1 month to collect your order before we drink it ourselves (your shout).
Local Delivery - 3km from the brewery
We deliver the first week of each month (usually). If you aren't at home, we will try and ring you to organise delivery again the following week. If still no luck, you will have 3 weeks to pick up your subscription from the brewery at which point we will drink your beer for you (your shout).
After we've made one delivery to you address, we will leave your subscription delivery in a designated safe place for all future deliveries (if such a place exists), otherwise we will continue to ring your bell.
